The "iLock for Continental" allows for entry via a smartphone application. The iLock smartphone app works essentially as any other type of proximity credential; simply launch the "iLock for Continental" application and tap the Unlock button to allow entry.

  • The "iLock for Continental" application works in conjunction with the Continental Access CA4K software
  • The "iLock for Continental" application communicates to Architech series locks that contain Bluetooth LE technology
  • The "iLock for Continental" application communicates to a Bluetooth Reader Module, that wires in parallel with a standard weigand reader, making the reader bluetooth enabled
  • The "iLock for Continental" application provides the ability to enroll standard credentials, in addition to a maintenance (admin) credential
  • The maintenance (admin) credential provides the ability to change the default settings in the bluetooth reader module
  • The "iLock for Continental" application also provides an "Unlock When Near" feature
